The heart of the Inspirational Women of Portsmouth Awards is to celebrate everyone that has been nominated. You have been nominated because someone in your community, your tribe recognises and celebrates your inspirational contribution; whatever the context. This is ubuntu.
Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning humanity to others. It is often described as reminding us that ‘I am what I am because of who we all are’. We want to celebrate every person that has been nominated for the Inspirational Women of Portsmouth with an afternoon party (2-4pm) at The Queens Hotel on Sunday 5th February 2023 . The event is also open to your friends and family.
The tickets are only £6 and we are honoured to have Lady Mayoress Nikki Coles as our Key Note speaker for the event.
If you have been nominated, we also want to celebrate you by profiling you through our podcast series and there are limited places available to participate between 12-2pm on the day.
